Who are these people that sit around the T.V with the future NFL players.

I noticed today that the satellite camera crews were in full force. I love when the flip over to the family all huddled around the tube, ready to start speaking in tongues and doing the "I'm gonna get me a Benz" dance. If you watch closely you always see two or three people acting like they are at a funeral. They don't smile, move, congratulate...NOTHING. Are they stand-ins, props, neighbors to make the room look full? Are they the cousin of an aunt by marriage four time removed who know they aren't getting paid? I can't wait until next years draft just to see the scrub family members. One person who is never quite is Momma...
