So this guy is the most loved man in the state because he is the most "pork barrell" spending guy in governmaent. At 90 years old, he has been in office so long that basically no one messes with the guy. There is some 3,000 bridges, roads, and buildings with his name on it. Basically he has spent billions of tax dollars on whatever anybody in WV wants. Known as "Big Daddy", he brags about how he gets anything he wants. In fact if you just drive around town you go over the Byrd parkway to the Byrd bridge and on to the place i work....Robert C Byrd Health Sciences Center. I swear to God, I dont think you can take a crap in WV without homage to byrd. Oh yea...and the whole reformed KKK member thing.
This guy is the reason government is out of touch with America...Want to see govenment at its best...
