4 year old web cam on the fritz

As always me and the computer have gotten together for round 20 of this ongoing battle. It seems as if I have screwed up some how with installing the web cam and it is making Windows shut down. The sum bitch worked all day and then BAM. Well I installed as it told me to do.......and upon trying to re-install.....things are not happening as they should. Who knows what I did. Hopefully things will get back on track but until then.................keep your program files in the C drive hardware installed or you XP logistics will re-format the disk hard drive error! WTF
