I see that one of the greatest nicknames in baseball wants to make a comeback.Dennis "oil can" Boyd says the can still has a few squirts left and he wants another day on the mound. With all this steroid hoopla in the game today, we need some of these colorful guys to help us get back to watching Americas Pastime. Baseball was never that great for me once Mcgwire and Sosa went to the hidden dugout. Sure the Yankees and Red Sox rivalry was great but even that has faded into the land of overpaid talent and lazy millionairs. I am not advocating steroid use, but watching skinny guys run out singles is not my cup of tea.It has become a game of either guys who you cant pronounce their names or guys who hit .275 with 15 jacks. If we cant have our giants busting out car windows in the parking lot, at least we can enjoy some good nick names.
