Music Madness Round 2

Thanks to everyone who either posted or called in your vote on opening week of the big showdown. If you did not get your "say-so" in then I am a little dissapointed. PLEASE cast your vote! Well, the big winner by landslide (and no real surprise) was Eddie and the gang (pre little Wolfgang). I really dig that song. Now things get a little harder as we move on to #2 vs' #7 and a true battle of the "juice you up" bands. As I said before, these are all just representations of my favorite songs or bands. Even though your favorites may not be listed, I appreciate your time in picking the ones that are. I hope everyone enjoys the game. REMEMBER, get your votes in so we can (unlike the ice cream man from Jackson) keep the music coming.

Do the get any better than this. Enjoy the energy and try not to start a riot in the workplace.

Dedicated to one Matt Monks werever you are..this ones for you!

I vote for the boys from Boston -Aerosmith. This was a little bit tougher call, and had you picked a different AC/DC song I may have been swayed. But Aerosmith to me has had more staying power & been more influential. And they had Alicia Silverstone in their videos. As a schoolgirl. That was hot.

Boy, you have me on the fence on this one. Thunderstruck and the almighty G-Nard laser light show juiced us up for more than 5 years before the big game...so its sort of sentimental. Then again, that is one of my favs from Aerosmith, besides Love in an Elevator of course. I think Aerpsmith os the better group but judging purely on song (and one of the best guitar opens ever)I am going with Thunderstruck....plus it brings back memories of the great Puck belly slide...ummmm flop. Even when the head fell off.

Reporting for duty sir...

Anybody that can pull off a faux velvet shorts suit complete with tie deserves a vote from me.

The greatest Boston band ever, besides the Dropkick Murphy's.
