Got some new foot covers this week....nothing like that first week of new shoes! New color scheme for me, but I'm branching out!

I have been in dire need of some new shoes for the past month or so. I was wearing an old pair of hand-me-downs my brother wore in high school (damn that sounds like a Foxworthy joke or a something overheard at the WIC office) after my other pair had finally threw in the towel. They had a ton of West Virginia mileage and had gotten wet in Old Deckers Creek. Those bad boys had some good old fashioned foot stank in them as well. I don't know how girls sneakers never stink like a mans. When I was about 12 or so my family was driving back from Disney World. My mom and dad were bewildered by this horrible smell inside our station wagon. At some point my dad actually pulled the car over thinking rat, a snake or some creature had died under his seat. In the back of his mind I think he thought I shat my pants or something.....who knows. So we pull over and he searches everywhere.....no dead rodents. He pops the trunk and my mom joins the rooting around and sniffing like a drug dog on a 78 candy apple Impalla. They pull out a bag and there having been worn all over the Magic Kingdom with no socks where my shoes. I dont remember the brand name but they had a kangaroo on the side and a small zipper pocket. They stunk so bad my dad actually threw them in a dumpster. SO hopefully these new NB will manage to hold the line on the overpowering Meeker foot cologne!
