More ramblings from the desk of the head nanner

1. What is the deal with putting a number in your company web address. Have you seen all these make money schemes on the tube. One has a cartoon fox and they all have some good looking chic who makes $5,000 a week sitting on her ass watching Oprah. Anyway, they all look like "43 make cash.com" or "Get Rich 78.com". When I see numbers I instantly assume it's an Amway/Avon/Quixstar/small tiny adds in newspapers ripoff crap.

2. I got one of those fancy new Blackberry curve phones and am I the only one who has realized a slight design flaw....or am I just dumb? Tonight I went to dial one of those 1-800 numbers that spell out something memorable in the number. For example 1-800-ask-4ass. Well the blackberry thing has a full keyboard so I had to hold out another phone to see what number corresponded with each letter. What the Hell? (actually I was just dialing the keyboard letters and acting dumbfounded until another un-named blogger pointed out my stupidity)

3. Played Rock Band the game last night and WOW! It is like Guitar Hero (If you are lost at this point then just stop reading) but with a drum set, more guitars and a microphone. This thing is the ultimate party game and just damn fun. I got all juiced up as I banged out the drum line (including the foot pedal base beat) to Mississippi Queen. I was wielding the lumber and smashing some killer drum solos......All to a massive 69% accuracy. So I really sucked and looked awful doing it, but I felt awesome after...minus the great groupie sex in a tour bus...its the most fun a talentless wanna be can have.

4. I have been drinking a ton of Fresca lately...not bad

5. If I ever build a house, I want to have solar panels on the roof.

6. Getting my parents to start using canvas-reusable shopping bags is tough. They have a hard time remembering to take them in the store. Hey! at least they are open to the idea. As we rode back from Birmingham last week, it was awful to look down the center of the interstate at the fresh cut grass and then the 10 million pieces of plastic bags for 100 miles. If you are still using the Walmart bags....shame on you!

7. Movies I want to see this week: Batman, X-Files and Super bad

--I have the Curve as well but I have to admit. Who really ever dials a 1-800 number more than once or twice a year?
--Solar Panels....where are you going to live? Chunchula? or Shicaksaw?
