I had a little time on my hands due to the fact that I did not make it in time to Sams Super Sandwich Shop in downtown Homewood. I was given a tip by a former resident that you couldn't find a better slaw dog if you went to Poland. So I cruised onto the campus of the Cumberland Law School and WOW.....it is some kind of nice. I wandered around took some pictures. The place was dead as school is out of session. Being somewhat of an adventurer, I "somehow" found an open side door to a building. As I made my way through the empty halls and relieved myself in the restroom, I found the student center. Now for anyone who went to South Alabama...this is not very exciting. Let me tell you, there were no hand-me-down sofas and three legged chairs from the set of Mommas Family. Leather...beautiful....lush leather and oak tables. So I decided to sit a spell before I heard some keys jingling down one of the halls.

As a fellow graduate of South Alabama, I thought that those types of fancy colleges were only in the movies. How sad that the students of these fancy colleges will never know a moofy smelling student center
