2. Public libraries are funded by your tax dollars. The purpose is to make knowledge available to the public and give people a chance to become smarter, better citizens...all that stuff. So do think it is OK to:
* have a filter on public computers to block access to websites based on key words? Just remember that I blogged once before about 10 things I was not allowed to view at the public library. these included Malcolm X, abortion, LA Riots, slavery and serial killers.
* Should the library refuse to carry books they consider inappropriate?
3. Would you rather work a 4 day week schedule 7:00-6:00?
4. Are jean shorts on men ever appropriate?
5. Would you fire someone in your office today....if you had the power?

1. Those border patrol guys. They SHOULD be allowed to shoot and ask questions later.
2. I think there should be computers for adults and some for kids that do have filters. I don't think porn should be allowed on any computer. Period. I think there should be some discretion with spending my tax dollars on books - but it should be a fair and sensible balance.
3. I have given up on working for a wage and prefer to earn my income by leveraging the time I do spend.

5. I've fired plenty of people in my professional life - for policy violations. I'd loved to have STUPID as a terminable offense.

2. Not ok, you should be able to look at anyhting. Maybe not porn, at least not the dirty kind. Libraries should carry all books, no censorship. Thats for the Comi's like Obama. Thats right I said it Obama is a comi.
