I heard today that the stimulus package that will pass this week will eventually end up costing the taxpayer 9.7 trillion dollars. That's a lot of zeros my friend, but is it really something Betty houswife and Joe manager have to be concerned about. I guess it is our duty as citizens to make sure our taxes are spent correctly, but lets face up to the truth.
Our tax dollars go to all kind of junk. Lets just all come to our senses and realize that the government will waste 9 trillion on some other pork belly bull crap schemes whether it is disguised as a stimulus package or a grant to study the size of a snipe birds prostate. So why is everybody up in arms?
The government will never be efficient and those in office will never stop sticking their hand out for more tax dollars. I just think we got a little spoiled living the American dream and now it's time to prune back the branches of excess and greed.

Well said. And, did you watch the Obama Press Conference the other night? How many times did he let us know that the Republican's put us this mess and he just "inherited it"? We all know this buddy. We haven't been holing up with Bin Laden for the last 8 years.

I care b/c I am tired of paying for poor ass worthless people. Im not spending a quarter of my natural born life studying so I can go to the hospital every day and bust my ass so Joe "Im a worthless piece of crap that can't even put my buggy up at Wal-Mart" Blow can sit on his ass at home with his hand out and take 30 percent of my check. What does this have to do with the stimulus, nothing. Im just tired of poor people. My opinion on the stimulus, why give more money to companies that couldn't manage the money they started with?

No matter who is in office, no matter what plan is thrown up in the rotunda of justice, no matter how long we live....you will never pay less than what you pay right now. Taxes don't go down. Of course the first thing that pops in the working mans mind is .."why am I paying a chunk of my cheese to somebody who is not pulling their part of the wagon". The problem is that their will always be people with 5 kids in a 2 bedroom house that do nothing but walk to the mailbox to get some government cash. This is not something unique to America. I have always said that the reason the middle class and the upper class exist is because the poor are kept at bay with a trickle of handout. This is not a new concept. If we just stop the flow of free cash to the underbelly of society then those people become restless. When desperate people with no form of work ethic or care for others become desperate, they dont decide to go to trade school or join the workforce. They decide to get it from those who have it. They rob, steal, car jack and mug everyone they see. You would not be able to venture out into public without swimming through hundreds of people just looking for a sucker. So it cost a little bit in social pay outs but in reality you are just throwing an occasional bone over the castle wall to keep the lions at bay.
As far as the companies who cant manage their afairs. This is a case of "got you over the barrel". You see, these companies know that if they go under then the economy and America would be in complete meltdown. This big wigs and their companies own everyone. Who do you think makes the 90 day operating loans every month to the business we frequent daily. If you take away the flow of money in the form of loans then business shuts down. When that happens people loose jobs, places go under and cities loose tax dollars. Then you are stuck with 100 new Flint Michigans. The truth is that we got ourselves in a pickle and there is no way out other than paying. The mob isn't in the gambling business any more...there all bankers.
So we just have to accept the fact that 30% is going bye bye whether we bitch or not. Enjoy the other 70%.
