I saw this video on the news. As a server who puts lemons on drinks hundreds of times per night...I do not wash my hands before doing it! No possible way that could happen. I do wash my hands a lot throughout the night, and I squirt the hand sanitizer on when I walk past it, but seriously? Don't use the lemons!!!!
